Funny Action By Catholic
I got the inspiration to share the many funny action that we catholic do when i speak to Pius Kallang and i also realise how dumb i am! Thanks to camp empowered now i know even more and i realise there is so much more that we need to learn about our religion.
So whenever we ask a catholic why do they do such action they would tell you because thier catechists told them so. However without the real understanding and through following action, catholic have been misguided.
For Example we hear story that people were told not to bite the bread because it is the body of christ. Oh my that is so misleading.

When we enter the church we bow and we geneflect before we sit rite?
So people from the right entrance genuflect to the school and people siting in the left side genuflect to the cemetery. Why? why do you all want to genuflect to a piece of stone in the middle of the cathedral? LoL..
We represent our Lord in the tabernacle!
Please please please remember that and dont genuflect on Good Friday cause he is not there. =)
Next why we do the sign of the cross?
Most of us do it blind.
Now let me put it in simple term.
We do the sign if the cross to show our faith of redemption(sorry about chimnology but no word to replace it) and our dedication(consecration) to God.

So my simple example has show how ignorance of we Catholic.
I have learn in my camp that the understanding is important and the fundamental of everything.
Let see what our second vatican say
“Scripture teach authoritatively and freely from error the truth God intended to be placed there that are necessary for our salvation”
Now let us all remember that meaning is important and keep in mind that the bible has mistake geographically but never in meaning. Sometimes difference in same parable are made as they are introduce to different community of people. Keep in mind also that God plant the inspiration into us man to write and not God writing the Bible so mistake are bound to happen.
Lastly, i call that all Catholic to find out more!
Oh ya, and we don’t pray to mother Mary as a idol, We intercede through her to God as how we ask people to pray for us.
