Human Rights?
Today in the world are we deprive of this benefit that befit us in this era?
Human right were alien to us before and we could only see record of first human rights in the year 1525 (twelve article of black forest).
What is human right you may ask.
Human right is the basic rights and freedom.
But today it is a hot topic in many nation as it is in our country.
Do we all receive the human right that we are suppose so?
People in UK demands for chapel in each school and they got it.
University student demand for a mosque in each University and they fighting for it to be realized soon.
However we in our country today have we ever ask for our rights?
Did we fight for our right as our constitution allow us our right to practice our believe?
Today we are ban from wearing cross, turban, and pendent to school.
Yet we see others are allowed to wear their religious attire to school.
Therefore, dont you think we should step up for a change?
In the new education system,
Malaysia education minister has declared that they are going to change the language of education from English to Bahasa Malaysia(Nation Language) despite having a survey showing Malaysian are against the idea. All are done with a reason saying that our education policy show us that the PPSMI(teaching of maths and science in english) is a failure as it widen the gap of education between urban and rural area.
So by going backward are we solving all the problems that are faced by us?
Are we really helping those in the rural area or are we spoon feeding them?
Making them helpless to face the world when those in rural area come out to work.
Back to topic,
why when we all oppose yet education minister continue with the idea?
The education policy is as ancient as my grandfather and yet no new action is taken to renew the policy to ensure better education for us all.
